It is always never enough.

I had a good Thanksgiving. Thursday and Friday were really good. I went out to the country. I was in the middle of nowhere. It was me, my friends, and the coyotes... oh, and the mountains, let's not forget about them, they gave us a nice landscape to look at. e were right at the base of Cochise Stronghold. It was nice. The food. The bonfire. The hiking. Really nice.

But then I go home. I had to write way too much in little time. I am not sure what I am writing about. I am upset. Bored. Disappointed.

I got out on Sat night to watch The Mist. It was a good horror movie. So it was horrible. Horrible. It gave me such a bad feeling. I keep having some of the images in my head. I am horrified. Scared. Shocked.

But it is worse than that. I wait. I keep waiting. All weekend. For something that didn't happen. I almost had it. Twice. But it was not meant to happen. And I tell myself I have to let go. And I am afraid I won't be able to. I suck! I hate this. It is always the same. Always the same. This is all my fault.

About the movie again... is really bad. You end up feeling so... helpless. Don't go watch it if you are depressed. Other than that... they did a great job.

What a stupid day.

If you are tired of stupid girls talking about drama, don't read this, cos I am afraid my post today resembles too much to those of blond american girls... The typical ones, not the ones I have for friends. Cos you see: I do like real people.

I slept 5 hours last night. Actually less. At 8 o clock, when I hadn't slept 4 hours yet, a guy calls me about some resort and vacation. He had such a stupid accent, and i was so tired. But even half asleep, I did find a way to discourage them right away. I only said "I have already booked my vacation", and he was more ready to go than I was.

Then work. It wasn't as bad. it actually wasn't bad at all. I remember leaving the school and telling Hannah:
-I am actually happy.
-Why? Because we are leaving?
-No, cos...
And then I went over all the good things i saw in my classrooms today.

I get home and I have an email saying that I can register for a class, and my friend, who we'll call B today, had even given me the line numbers. So i happily go and try to register, just to find some sort of problem. They say I don't have "valid appt", and hell if I know what that means. But I check, and the valid appt for this session will start on Nov 21st at 7 am, and finish that day at 12pm. I thought that was weird, but let's say when I was up to actually process that info, I notice it was bluntly wrong: that is Thanksgiving! No way that is the ONLY day I can register. And B said he did register!

I talked to my roommate, who pretty much tells me I am making too much drama out of nothing. To relax. To ealize that I am a PhD student, and if i want to get in a class, I can do it. Sodespite what my adviser had told me about this particular class, that is really hard to get in, I decide to believe my laid back roommate, and take a nap.

Phone wakes me up again. It's B. He says no way i can't register. That something must be wrong in the system. To go run to ASU as soon as possible. That I will lose my place in the class. Bla bla bla, I am all anxious again. But the worse was about to come.

I was supposed to go to spend Thanksgiving with his family. He didn't show up to my bd dinner. He didn't call. He didn't email... I won't be mad at him... even when all i wanted was not to be alone that day. But he has been a good friend, so I was not gonna be mad... nor was I going to spent this turkey day with is family either. It might not make sense for you, but let's add that some other friends that are in the same situation that I am, had decided to put up a thanksgiving dinner, and I should be a part of that.

He gets SO upset. I was expecting it, but it's always a bummer. So so so upset. I know I must have hurt his feelings.. but I guess is not even a question that he hurt mine too. In the end... I even called his mom to explain. The lady was very nice, and I am sure if it depends on us, we'll meet. But just so you have an idea, he is not picking up the phone for me.

But, I guess not all is bad... although I could ask 2 more things to the stupid things list of the day.

This morning I got a call from M. He sang Happy BD on Spanish to me, and apologized for not calling the right day. Not only he was extremely cute (careful P, please careful), but he must have had my bd date somewhere, cos he hasn't been in his myspace, so... how the heck did he remember? It was cute... very cute, and that is what counts. After all, he is always the father of my babies in my dreams.

P version 3.0 has been released.

I should write a much serious post today, but what the heck, I have just came back from dinner with friends to celebrate my 30th bd, and I am tired and not in such a serious mood.

I had a great time today. I could say I started celebrating yesterday... or was it a month ago, when Gerardo sent me his first bd present?

Whatever the case was... It was great. Friends from when I just arrived here, new friends. professors, co workers... it was nice.

And now I am pretty tired, so I guess I am gonna have to come back tomorrow to say more about it.

My new recurrrent dream:

Babies.

Can you possibly believe that? Either I am a mother of one or two, or I am pregnant.

And if that wasn't odd enough, they are always from the same man!!!!! We'll call him M. And no, we are not attached in real life.

The last one when I was pregnant was really cute. There was some falling tower included, and I was on it. I remember lying onthe floor that was falling down (kinda like an elevator out o control), and grabbing my barely noticeable tummy, and think about the baby and the father.

Just in case you wonder, no, I didn't die. i left the construction site in excellent conditions. BTW, the construction site is also a real one: they are building 2 towars od condos at downtown Tempe, and that was where everything happened.

Last night I just had 2 girls. One was 2 years old. Very pretty, a red hair. And the other was like 2 weeks old. She was a brunette, not so pretty (poor little thing). I remember thinking she was gonna get more beautiful when she was older.

But those are just 2. I have had more. I have either dreamed about talking to M about getting ourselves a baby.

So this is either really freaky, or fankly sad.

The stupid king of spain.

And I hope you noticed the lower case up there in the subject.

He asked Hugo Chavez to shup up cos he was sayinng something that was ovbiously not adecquate for royal ears. You see, these people have problems with the truth. They also seem to have problems occupaying their place, cos why in hell a king... a stupid king that got that place just cos he was born ina certain family with a certain last name... why a king will tell a president electer byt a country, to shup up. I can only hypothesize he has problems realizing what the truth is.

Or they are just used to ruling as they please, thinkning they really have some sort of right by family, to just tell whoever they have in front of them, to shut up.

But you might wanna know what Chavez was sayinng. He was saying Aznar was a facist.

Aznar, former president of Spain (let's remember these people is not well known by their inteligence) was the one blamin ETA of that attack on march 11, do you remember? He also supported the coup (I am not sure about that word anymore) in Venezuela... No wonder why Chavez doesn't like him! He sent troups to Irak too... See, not only he licked the king's boots, but looks like he licked Bush's too.

So that was what the President of Venezuela was saying, when the king asked him "why don't you shut up?"

And yes, we can probably imagine that Chavez was not doing what presidents do, and by that I mean: being polite and diplomatic. I coulnd't care less about that. I feel is great he gets there and says what so many people think, cos at least, loveing him or hating him, people listen to him.

And yes, of course I am pissed at many urugayans now complainig about him. Looks like these people have nothing better to do than defend the king of spain. Maybe they would take his mirrors and give them gold again.

In the end... these people shouldn't be in a meeting for PRESIDENTS. The king should be checking out if he has a cousin he can marry or something like that. So they he can go and have his pic taken, and he can be onthe cover of the magazine Hola.

Really good stuff!!!!

I was gonna talk about how I trade pain for embarassment with this new lady that I went today to get waxed, but I guess now I am juse in Beatle's mode and mood, so talk about any other thing would make no sense.

I met today with my friend L for lunch. B met us there later. We went to an ehiopian (probably a very bad mispell there), and it was really something. It was just not the food. And the food was good, don't get my wrong. Spicy and comforting. But the whole thing was a nice experience cos they have it all set up to make us think we are actually THERE. Sadly I dind't have my camera, so there are no pics today of this colorful friendly place.

Then coffee. She wanted B (I don't think she had any interest in me) to tell her ideas for some project she has. It was good. I got to talk anyway. Probalby no one really heard :-P I am not one that likes to always think and talk about work, so... It's ok. I am like the opposite of Jack from The Shinning. You know, the "all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" Jack. Well, OPPOSITE to that.

The best was yet to come. We went to see Across the Universe. I wasn't expecting it to be that good. I thought that as any musical was gonna be pretty... borinng. But I knew that no matter what, I was going to enjoy the songs. And I did more than that. I didn't hate the actors for singing. I like the story. I had fun by discovering every little detail, and I mean EVERY LITTLE DETAIL, that was pointed to The Beatles. I just loved it. Gerardo was right.

And I also have to say that Bono has a tiny part on the movie, but it's a good one. I guess he is the only real singer to sing a song there, and if I was him, I would have chosen I Am The Walrus too. He was really really good.

Oh, and I wasn't keepinng really a count, and it might be that I love Paul so much, but I think there were more Paul than John songs there. No that any one cares... Or maybe any good Beatles' fan care.

Oh well. Go see it, you won't regret it. Not at all.

To show a little love.

Let the hate begin.

So looks like Sir Paul waited for me to admit my love in public, to come out with his new gf. What are you doing to me Paul?!

And you know, that comes from a very jealous woman/fan, but the truth is... she is destined to be hated. Paul female fans will hate her, and probably the whole England will too. You know, he had Linda, and that was an awesome love story, so I think now all of us expect him to be... alone! :-P

Not happy with his last story, he got another younger woman. A brunette american. Do you want more? She seems to support Giulliani! A republican for God sake! Cour it get worse? Yes! It always can: she used to be a friend of Paul and Linda.. She and her husband used to. So Paul now is dating an old friend of the family. I wonder what the other half of that couple thinks about it.

You think I don't love Paul, don't you? I just don't want him to start giving us more soap ophera! We had enough with the other one Paul! Didin't you learn anything.

And a friend told me that "all he needs is love", and I think... go get it from your grandchildren, you are old enough for that, not for love scandals!

Anyway, you know I am hald joking. I am in the middle of a long reading for tomorrow, and not only realized that I needed a break, but also that I haven't written here for a while. Now I will go and enjoy Ever Present Past. It's not hey Jude... and it will never be My Love or This One, but it's good anyway.

Ciao.

Tired but I need to say this.

I got my ticket to see Soda Stereo. I will be going to Córdoba, and after all, it won't be the last show since they added one more at River Stadioum in Bs As. Who knows, I might go to that one. Why not? No matter what happens with that, I will be seeing Soda Stereo in Argentina this december. It can't get better... Well, it always can, but you know what I mean.

And if you are interested in seeing what has been going on this past few months, go to my pics, I have uploaded a whole new bunch.

And now, I'm off to bed.
