"Home is where the heart is"??

What a stupid thing to say. I guess I have no heart then, cos it's been a while since I have no idea where is home. But I came here for something else.

I am taking so many cords in my suitcase, and none of them are mine, that I hope I give the right one to each person. I just drop them in the suitcase, cos I got tired of trying to arrange them in my carry on bag. They are just cords! Who can possibly want cords?!

Tomorrow is my last day here in a month. I still have things to do, but I am not to blame. There are things that becasue of their nature, can't be really done earlier than a day before flying.

Oh, and yes, I have been running. I raised the bet to.... 4 miles!

GOSH!

I am leaving in 2 days, and of course, I am going through that stage where a part of me really thinks it would be easier to just stay, and that all the trouble is not worth it.

To see Soda Stereo ended up being the most difficult thing I have ever tried to do. I'm pissed. They are NOT worth it. Ok Ok, let's wait till the show, and if it's not the greatest thing I have ever seen so far, I will be MAD. MAD MAD MAD.

My roommate has been behaving like an ASS. I wrote about his studying habits before. And now, that is is free again, i think he is trying to prove ME that even that works. So he is being an ass. A complete asshole.

We are both in education... I am in Math ed, and he is in Science Ed, that is not more than Physics. We both know that there is no educational advantage to multiple choice tests than how fast they are to correct. But of course professors use them, and I can't blame them. Wit that said...

He approached to me the same day of a test that he had, and that I had had before with a different professor, to tell me he already had the score, and it was a pretty high one. I was in my computer chatting with someone else, not even thinking about scores, so I said:
-she already scored it? It must have been a multiple choice one.
-no it wasn't.
-well, was it like the practice test she gave? Cos I made some.
-Yes.
-that was multiple choise.
-alright, it was, but I like it.

Then told me how his professor, the one he turned the paper 2 days late, had already read his 30 pages long paper (in less than a day), and told him his paper was exceptional.

And then when he found out I am not working in the break, and no one in my project is, he just said "your professors are lazy". He said it with a lot of disgust. He obviously has to work during the break.

So... he is telling lies about his scores, and he is so envious about my vacation. He had no idea what he was doing on the class about math, and why would the professor read his paper first and email him about it when he didn't even turn it on time??!!

But not happy with all this, last night at 4 am, when I was sleeping, he came home with some friends, and started a party. I WAS SLEEPING. I waited, and seeing that the party was gonna be a long noisy one, got up and put my music loud, so I would listen to that, not to their voices.

I am so pissed at him. But I know I have 2 days to go, and he is not worth a confrontation. If I would have known I was gonna be living with my little brother, I would have moved with someone else. Cos at least I can yell to my brother, and he is certainly less sexist and not such a lier.

I am moving alone the second this lease is up.

Tawni and Sarah: I miss you so much!

Unrelated though, just because I love him.

It's late. I just came from a party where I saw some old friends, and I really had a great time.

So i get home and put The McCartney years.

Paul is so much more than a beatle.

And yes, it's amazing how he can say sth like "Yeah, and I was talking to John (Lennon)..." or, "that is the guitar that I use in Paperback Writer", or even "I remember when recording Kansas City"... And it's just amazing. He was there. He was one of them...

And yet, he is so much more than that.

I really love you Paul.

Just a minute.

The day was grey again. I finally was able to sleep all morning with the rain sound. of course my roommate woke up early, sat right next to the tv, and still put it really LOUD. What the fuck was that about? I don't know. it takes more than the tv in the other room to disturb my sleep, specially when it's grey and rainy. I returned the favor later, with the music. It was Paul McCartney though, much better than some bible discussion.

But my day started at 7 am actually. My friend called me from Uruguay to confirm if i wanted to have my tickets sent to Bs As. I figured that out, and now... my plan is to spen 3 days in Cordobay my friends. it's gonna be something else!

I also had the chance to talk to my brother. He was online at 8 am. He wants me to get him a phone since he lost his. So I will try to get what he wants. My only issue right now it's that I'll be arriving Argentina and later Uruguay with 2 motorola cell phones that look the same, since my cousin already asked me for a cell a couple of months ago. Hopefully there will be no problem.

And then I went to bed.... again.

I finally got up like at 2 pm. Dama was here. We went to see the Tempe festival of the arts. Shitty and expensive, but a good excuse to walk around, chat, and sort of window shop :-P

After that we visited Sean. He is so cute. Just as usual. What a good kid. I hope we never lose contact... none of us: Dama, Roberto, Sean and me. I had fun and discovered the RA have really nice rooms there!

Now I am only making time before I get ready for Katie's bd. Uh, I should recharge my battery.

Happy

I haven't even had the heart to come here just cos I knew there were so many things to say, that it made me tired just thinking about it.

So Thanksgiving came and went. It was great. At some point I am sure I'll upload some pics of that. I ended up going to some place away from the city. It was an hour further away than Tucson, right no the foot of the Cochise Stronghold. When I am not sure why I remember the world "stronghold", I know I remember "Cochise" thanks to Audioslave... but of course it might not be related.

Seonghee, Jessica and I had a very good time. We had the traditional food... a lot of it, as it is the tradition too, and then we spent the rest of the night around a bonfire that Casey, Jess' brother, made. So we just had a great time, laughing and hearing the coyotes haul.

The next day we wento hiking tothe mountain I mentioned before. It was great. We didn't do it all the way though, cos Seonghee had never gone on a hike, and Jess was tired. Looks like only Casey and i wanted more. But oh well. The lasncape was awesome. The weather beautiful. I loved it.

Then a very long, boring and disappointing weekend where I even got sick.

And in the middle, me going crazy with the app for that freaking scholarship that I really hope I get. I wrote like 5 times what I had to. and 5 times 200 is not as bad as 5 times 3500. Thank God for B, who not only edited my stuff, but he also cut it as short as it had to be. So that in some homeworks made me almost sleep at my office. But I got everything done on time.

I got to do absolutely nothing today. It was one option, but I actually wanted to go to compus and drag some of the koreans to the Tempe festiva of the arts with me. But guess what? It rained all day. ALL FREAKING DAY. And when some rain is always really nice, all day is too much. I was trapped at home.

But it could have been worse. People from Uruguay kept me on the msn a lot today, and kept me company too... So that was nice. And of course, i think it stopped raining too, so i won't be able to sleep to that sound, as I wanted... and as I deserved since I had to stay in all day.

On other color... My friend Gustavo, the one of the confession a couple of weeks ago, told me he would send my Soda Stereo ticket to Bs As if I want to, and I can just pick it up, and go straight to Cordoba, and only after the show go to Uruguay. I love the idea. Let's see if I can make it true. It will be less stressing, and I'll have the chance to see more of Cordoba... people say it's gorgeous, so I hope.

Other than that... as a good electronic musician that I am NOT, I have another sampler in my bedroom. I said ANOTHER. I'll be taking this to Daniel just like last time. He is a little uneasy about my decision to go to Cordoba and only then to Uruguay. But thinks will work out no matter how or what.

And to end this.. I am kinda happy while listening/watching my very special edition of The McCartney years.
